You search for your own business and cannot find it, or your competitors appear first. This is common, and in most cases it has a clear cause. Here are eight reasons a business does not show on Google and what to do about each.
1. Your Google Business Profile is missing or unverified

2. Your details are incomplete or inconsistent
Name, address and phone number should match on your profile, website and social pages. Add categories, hours, photos and services.
3. Your website is new or not indexed
Google needs time to discover a new site. Submit a sitemap in Google Search Console and make sure pages are not blocked.
4. You are not using the words customers search
If your pages never mention your service and your city, Google has little reason to show you. Write clear titles and headings, and use long-tail keywords your customers really type.
